Craz1....thanks! I am looking forward to seeing the completion of your bike as well. Lance, going on you 5th piston, huh? Sounds about right, considering how hard and the miles you're putting on your YSR. Fwiw, when I raced a YSR, it's very common to do a top-end rebuild, at least once a season. Being as far out of town as you are, at least you have nothing but open road to have your fun Btw, hope things are better for you now

hay Daren read you YSP post.
Still havent closed on my home. hopefuly in a couple days. Still waiting on my Hernia sergery. Slowly getting all cought up on things. & on & on........
As for the piston thing It just gets old + expensive having to out sorce it to TCR every time. Dont get me wrong, I fully suport TCR & think we all need to suport them! Id hate to loose them, as they are a very valueable resorce!

Ouch! Hernia operation, huh? My bro in-law had one. You'll get through it, but take it easy (stomach muscles). You don't want to take a chance tearing anything. Pray for ya a quick healing I totally support TCR and hope they stay in business for the years to come. Really, they are the only YSR supporters I know! I know plenty of mechanics, but don't do YSR's on a regular basis as TCR, or whom specifically carry YSR parts or after-market goodies on hand I do have a motor (original YSR motor) for them to freshen up, but it's way down on the priority list, being that it won't be mounted into anything Now that I have a Derbi motor, I get my parts elsewhere (POD Performance/Dan Pierce). However, I do order my NSR rebuild kits from TCR and it's more expensive than the YSR (lol). Not sure how much longer I plan to race the NSR, I may opt for a 63cc kit, or install an XR100 motor, then just track it from time to time. And also, convert the bike to street.......just bought a headlamp for it. Next on the list is purchasing and installing a Baja Kit (electrical & lighting package).
