hey guys........may seem like a dumb question but what is the extra nipple under the fuel tank for? for a breather tube?
should i plug it up or just leave it like that?

Dont plug it! The bike wont run if its pluged. Its how the tank equalizes the pressure so the fule will go tho the carb. (its a gravity feed sistem.) Just add a rubber hose make it long enough to go down by the exaust. You will see a litle U shapes bracket, just put the hose in there.

Altho', it's not critical to actually have a hose attached to it.......the tanks I use for track, I leave the nipple bare, so don't worry about it.

The hose is just so if you spill gas it wont drip all over your engine & frame.

Well, in regards to my comment, I don't fill up the tank on track days, so I have no worries of over-filling :-p. However, the tank I use for street rides does have a hose attached. Just be sure you don't 'completely' fill your tank. You don't want gas draining, especially on your rear tire when in motion (yikes!)
