Hello, I have put together a ysr from parts. All the wiring has been straightfoward except all the bullet connectors below the seat area for the ignition module and cdi ect. I do have a wire diagram but cant make heads or tails from it. Do I just connect the same color wires together or can someone explain it '' for dummies'' Thanks any help would be appreciated.

Yes, color match the wires together. All harnesses are wire colored for that reason. However, sometimes the "bullet" connectors (or other similar)can sometimes make it confusing.
In the end, if you have any stray wires left over after all the connections ae done, and you don't know where it/they go, let us know and we'll help to identify it/them.
Otoh, if the harness has been cut and or spliced, can also make things a little tricky.
