So this is my latest brain fart. I keep hearing guys say that thier frame sliders do more damage than thier worth. So since the problem is that the only place to moumt them is to the upper or lower ferring mounts (Thies are extreamly weak & will bend easily), I decided to see what ti could do to fix the problem. looking through a box of scrap bike parts i saw the perfict pice, a XR80 brake stay. I cut it in half & moded both endes into braces. (this part is the same thickness as the motor mount bracket.) As you can see it fit well & works awsome! I put one mount on the concreet floor & hit the other with a 3lb hammer & it didnt move. Im prity sure this will fix the problem of the flimsy lower bracket bending & its not that many oz of weight. Expecialy if it saves you a bunch of money.
