Hi everyone. Like Ive mentioned Im very innovative & have many ideas & knowledge to share with you all.
Here is the deal. I just got a almost complete 74 Yamaha RD60..
The speedo goes up to 80mph. Yes there is a Little modification needed to mount it. It is just slightly smaller than a YSR speedo. Also it doesnt have all the lights (blinker, high beam, or oil) That all is in the tack.... The tack is a direct bolt in if you have the YSR80 fearing mount with speedo & tack mount. Yes, It is accurate.
(FYI the motor is a direct bolt in, although you would need to mod the wiring a bit. I will soon be doing this & let you all know how well the motor works.)
Like Ive mentioned Im very innovative & have many ideas & knowledge to share with you all.
Ill post up some pics of it all...

this is the RD60 tach & the YSR speedo This is both the RD60 speedo & tach FYI the Satanard US YSR50 speedo bracket will need modifyed to hold any tach. Mine is either a Canadian or Jap spec & needed no mods to hold the tach. Slight mods are needed to hold the RD speedo. It looks like this.

WHere can you get the RD60 speedo and or tach? Btw, there are a lot of different digital options these days that offer mph, temp and a tach. Tho', I like the analog look better

Will the YSR gear dirve work with this speedo?
If not, what is needed to make it work on a YSR?

Yes the YSR drive works. It has the same ratio.
(not sure on the last speedo I posted. This is why I am going to try it.)

the motor is a direct bolt in but the trans shift pattern is backwards, and the yrs cylinder is better it has larger ports then the rd 60, my brother has a rd 60 and we put an RX50 motor in it, which is more like the ysr motor but it had a 20mm carb stock, also the rd 60 uses points not electronic ignition, so better to stick with the ysr or a RX 50
