light problem

Hi

seem to have a problem with my lights, its high/low beam, rear light, and lights on the dash in the clocks.

i am aware the bike needs to be running.

they work now and then, flickering when the engine is reved, and cuts out at 6-7k. but not consitant?

Everything that runs off the battery is ok, indicators, stop light etc.

can anyone confirm how many earths there are on the bike?

I think i have found 3.
battery earth
coil earth
and am i right in thinking from what i can see the rectifer earths on the frame too?

would love to get this problem solved as driving me mad, ive just bought the bike and wanna get out and ride!!!!! [/glow][glow=red,2,300][/glow][glow=red,2,300][/glow]

and if anyone has any info on wiring diagram on pdf would you be so kind t send it across, or any info on the syr come to that

I dont have a PDF but Ill look . I thing its only 3 ground spots... Ill look later tonight @ the manual to be sure.
Have you tryed cleaning them? Also pull the flywheel & be sure its clean as well as the coils. It may also be that your lighting coil is going bad.
