I was riding my bike and it just died. I started taking the motor apart and there was gas in the gear oil. The plug looked like it was running lean. After it happened it felt like it had no compression. Does anyone know what I should look for first? If I go to a Xr100 how do you get the lights to work or a blaster will the light all still work to get it street legal again.
Thanks

With gas in the transmision I guess you had a center case leak (this happens for one of 2 reasons: 1- the pet thingy was left on & eventualy the cilender was flooded, 2- this same thing can happen after you have had a mini seasure in the past.) Though you may have other problems. Im guessing that you were over reaving the motor & had a mini seisure. (this is when you go past the maximum revolutios the motor can handle. this happens very easy when going down hill & keeping the throtle pinned.) You will have a lot less compression right after this happens. Later it will usualy run again, but have less power due to ring & cilender damage. You probably need to split the case & reseal every thing + do a top end rebuild.
