Just came to this site (have been a member of the other YSR site for a little while now) and glad to help or get help as much as possible.
I've owned a '91 YSR80 in the past and currently have a '88 YSR80 again. Bought the '91 about 4-5 years ago and kept it for a year. The coloring was a little wierd for me (pearl white with baby blue lightning bolts) and someone offered to buy the bike for a decent price so I sold it. Immediately I felt empty but when my son was born I made my mind to buy another and keep it around for him.
Bought the '88 YSR80 2 years ago and it was plain black (original plastics) as the previous owner had pealed off the yellow stickers. After months of searching I found replacement set off ebay and have replicated the original black/yellow look. Love the bike and this one's a keeper.
