WOW, pretty cool! How did, or what did you do to intagrate the NSR wheels to the YSR?.......as I am sure a lot of peeps would wanna know. As well as the gadget you used to get the YSR speedo gear to work w/ the NSR wheel. I'd love to hook up a YSR speedo to my NSR So I'd love to see and/or read what you did to make this work

to use the NSR wheels i had to plat with the NSR adn USR rear wheel spacers, on the gear side i used a custom spacer aprox 10mm thick and used two other spacer (from the YSR and NSR wheels and made the other side. up front i had to drill the Shock holes to use the NSR axle then used a left over spacer on the right side and made the speedo adapter, ill have to remeasure to give specs or i can make a few when my shop is back up and running. but the adaper looks like the wheel drive on one side with three 1/4" tabs to spin the speedo and the other side has an ID that press fits onto the OD of the NSR wheel..no glue or welding pressed on and pops off.....I may be selling the speedo setup and adapter since i will add a second front disc and use twin 4 piston brakes..HAHA..................Hal

Hal, I'm glad to see you finally got pictures of the bike up! That is one sweet machine you have there. BTW, I got the battery cover from you and it is much appreciated! Just what the doctor ordered. Keep up the good work on that thing. I can't wait to see what you dream up next. I'll have to take a serious look at your wheel setup as well. It might benefit me to have a dual caliper setup like you are proposing. Russ (USA) www.badbros.net

Douglas Wheel has these nifty little rims too, and I believe that they can do custom widths. You might give them a shout as they can make just about anything you want. www.douglaswheel.comRuss (USA) www.badbros.net

Hi Hal, The width of the back tire I'll be running on the Jet YSR is a 130, and I am putting it on the standard rear rim. You could get a rim that is .250 or .5 inches wider and run a 140 from the same company. On an interesting note, the tires I am using are normally only rated to 85 MPH, but we had this set made and tested at the factory in Taiwan to be rated up to 150 MPH. The tires are realy the only limiting factor for the top speed of the bike, due to their size and rating. I just really hope the bike handles as well as I have set it up for! Russ www.badbros.net
