hey joe, i am derek. where in new york are you? i am in wantagh, on long island. just got an 88 ysr 50 today. needs a bunch of work, but so do i. healing hip from a bad big bike accident.

hey derek, i am in oakdale. let me know what you need, i have some friends with parts. so let me know what you need i'll see if we got. but if your looking to parking lot race don't worry about body work you'll just wreck them. lol i lay my bike down every time.

is this joe f from formula 1?
i gotta pull the carb off, needle and seat are sticking, fixed the front brake already, i think the tires are crap, but dont know what they looked like when they were new, so may still be good lol. the pirelli's on my street bike are like that.
i need an airfilter, i got the stock airbox with it, but not on the bike. i am sure a k&n or uni would be better anyway. for the most part, its all there, just ugly.
where do you get togather and race? anybody actually register them and ride em around? once mine runs better and i can get a leg over it, i think i might register mine.

yea, i'm that joe. who this r1 derek let me know when you want to set it up i have 5 and i know the right ways to do it. i been messing with these since 1991. if your running a stock carb, leave the air box on and drill for button filters. all my bike are reg. i ride one back and forth to work once in a while. races left for the year if it don't rain www.likaonline.com joe |

hahaha i knew it was you. the black and silver 00 r1. friends with billy s, friends with lloyd, i know ray, phil, you know who i am. i would call your cell but i lost mine with all my numbers in it.
ill call formula 1 tomorrow.
yeah joe, i can use all the help i can get. i cant even ride the thing yet. kid said it has a 21mm carb i think? carb does look newer than the rest of the motor, but hey, that might just be the leaking fuel.lol
