Hey, I'm from Ontario, pretty close to Toronto (Brampton and Barrie). I have a 88 YSR 50 that I purchased off one of the postings on the old ysr50dotcom website a couple months ago. My YSR is still in the works, need to get it running still. I'm planning on making it my daily rider come next spring. In a year or two I'm planning to swap in a 100cc+ motor into it.
Anyone else from Ontario or Canada?? good to know for parts swapping and possible YSR cruises.

Hey fellow YSR enthusiasts! Add one more to your list of Ontario members! Currently rebuilding one of two YSR's I have. Stripped the bike down.. sandblasted & powdercoated everything.. in the midst of putting it back together. I'll post a few pics as it comes along. Looking forward to riding the rebuilt YSR early next year... hopefully with a bunch of Ontario riders! I know ysrtoronto is in.
I always have a bunch of spare parts (new or used) hanging around. I either sell them locally or post them on Ebay. Email me anytime with your part requests... I'll see if I have it available. I'm always looking for trades as well!

Does anyone from Ontario have a spare gas tank in usable condition, that they would like to sell.
FYI you can get a new tank for $736 from CycleWorld West on Dundas. Ouuch. Have to get a new one at one point of time to extend the bike's life for another 20 years.
Hey Ridinglow, good to see you cross over to this forum.

I have a complete YSR that I'll be parting out on Ebay in a week or two. Just in the midst of taking it apart. Keep an eye out for the gas tank. And of course.. free local pickup for those area riders who are interested.

Hey Guys, The YSR I'm planning on parting out and all the relevant info is on the YSR50.com website.. check this link: ysr50dotcom.proboards4.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&n=1&thread=1148496785Jeff... the only aftermarket parts I have are on this YSR.. 20mm carb with K&N filter, Carbon Fiber reeds, DG pipe, aftermarket RACEPRO black aluminum billet triple clamp, hand grips and bar ends, Dunlop TT tires, japanese style lighting and bodywork. Unfortunately, no swingarms or forkspring kits. Tinman.. feel free to list what parts you are looking for and make me an offer. I'm sure we can work something out - package deal. motoguy25@hotmail.com .......Ridinlow

YsrT.O. - received your email... replied!
I had brought the price down to $1800.00 Canadian. Had some interest.. but nothing serious. (Except for a trade offer which I just wasn't able to do) So.. I'm deciding to part it out considering there is way more interest around here for parts. I'll make more parting out on Ebay.. I've had to do it before. I'm going to keep a few parts off this bike to transfer to my new bike when I take it apart.
tinman.. did you end up selling your Red YSR you had posted?
